1. Character and Spiritual Life
Biblical leaders should be people of integrity, humility, self-control, faithfulness, and spiritual maturity.
What have you observed in this person’s life that demonstrates these qualities and a genuine commitment to following Jesus?
2. Servant Leadership
Jesus said, “Whoever would be great among you must be your servant.” — Mark 10:43
How have you seen this person serve others, take responsibility, and put the needs of others ahead of their own?
3. Relationships & Unity
Church leaders should be people who handle relationships, disagreement, and correction with humility and who help protect the unity of the church.
How have you seen this person respond to conflict, correction, or difficult circumstances?
4. Leadership & Calling
Elders are called to shepherd God’s people, teach Scripture faithfully, and lead by example.
Deacons are called to be trustworthy, faithful servants who help meet the practical needs of the church.
